Odayne Rhoden is an extraordinarily gifted singer, songwriter, speaker, and author who comes from the fertile soil of Dallas Castle, Jamaica. He grew up immersed in a community renowned for its powerful singers, churches, academic scholars, and vibrant social life. Odayne was born to share his lyrical message of freedom, joy, love, and hope with the world.

As a self-taught singer, he found his passion for music by listening to all genres of music, collaborating with other artists, and singing cover albums. He honed his craft by being patient, eager to learn, and always willing to help others. Odayne has developed a fiercely loyal following from sharing the stage with such luminaries as Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Juanita Bynum, Darryl Strawberry, JJ Hairston, Dr. Matthew Stevenson, Third World, Luciano, Gramps Morgan among others. He has also been a guest Psalmist on numerous Television Networks such as TBN, Hope Channel, and TVJ sunrise just to name a few.

He is the recipient of several awards; most recently, he was awarded a gold standard award from  Joe Biden, President of the United States of America, for his contribution to the city of New York and also a recognition award from the Black Democratic Political Association for his humanitarian contributions to the city of New York and around the world.  

Through his organization Pursuing Purpose ministries and also the Shabbach Ministries, they’ve been able to feed thousands of people here in New York and overseas. This partnership has impacted the lives of our brothers and sisters in India, Brazil, Africa, Jamaica, and Guyana.
